One of the best things about Jonesboro is this wonderful, quirky coffeehouse! It has quickly become a part of the life of Arkansas State University. In fact, I think sometimes those of us on campus forget that it is not an official part of the University. The food and coffee are always excellent, but it is the warm, inviting atmosphere that draws students and faculty back day after day. Need a comfortable place to grade papers? Order a coffee and sit for hours in front of the real, wood-burning fire or on a pretty day, out on the wide front porch. No one will blink an eye if you occupy a table for the entire afternoon! And the owner, Ann, is not only a super cook, but a warm and engaging person who makes each customer feel special. There only problem during the day is an occasional parking issue--the university parking around the restaurant is not available to those from off campus who do not have a parking permit and non permit parking is limited. However, this is only a problem from time to time at lunch. Much of the lunch crowd consists of campus folks who walk in.
